What happened, anyone have any ideas. At roughly the same time, both units stopped displaying on the CD/AM/FM side. I bought two of these SA10034 delphi systems. The first played well for about 6 months, I used it only at home, and I bought another one to use when I was outside or on the run.
Great product with excellent sound quality. I have two of these and use them at home and elsewhere.
Not the highest fidelity in the world but it is great for around the house, backyard BBQ-ing, working in the yard, the beach. I really like this boombox. I mainly use it to listen to XM radio but I like the fact that I can play a CD (rarely) or listen to AM/FM radio (occasionally).
None of the problems noted in the other reviews other than the instruction manual not being correct/clear. It will drain the batteries all the way down, a real problem if rechargables are used. We have owned this system for several years now. Only item that bugs me is that the unit always remains in the standby mode, a problem if the batteries are used then not removed when done. Other than that, wouldn't leave home without it. Very good sound for it's size. Lots of features.
My only complaint is that the radio is difficult to remove from the slot and takes some effort. I bought this item about a month ago. I actually have two - one for work and one for home. I liked this enough that we replaced our old (CD quit working) shelf stereo system with this. I have been very pleased with it. It has good sound and I have not experienced the noise that some other reviewers have written about.
